Performs in application temperatures below freezing
Does not dry brittle – has some flexibility (but not too much that it appears soft)
Cure times faster than most adhesives
Holds heavy objects quickly and easily
Repositionable for 10 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity
Strong, durable bond
Low odor, ideal for indoor or outdoor use
Weather and water resistant
Bonds virtually any material

Application Guidelines

Application Temperature:
0°F to 120°F (60°F to 90°F for best results). Above 90°F use additional support for 24 hours.
Service Temperature Range:
-40°F to 275°F
Working Time:
10 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
Application Conditions:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other loose material that may prevent adhesion.
9.5 fl. oz. cartridge equates to 210 linear inches and the substrate coverage is 2.5 inches of standard sized bead per pound of substrate.
Method of Application:
Cut across tube’s nozzle base and screw on the included v-notch applicator tip, which must be used to ensure correct depth of adhesive is extruded. Place in premium cartridge gun, as material is highly viscous. Hold cartridge gun at a 90° angle relative to substrate surface. The notch of the applicator should form a ridge on top of the adhesive bead when applied correctly. Apply adhesive coverage based on substrate weight to one of the surfaces in a continuous, horizontal bead, staying 1/2 inch from the outside edge. Correct bead placement is achieved by dividing total bead coverage into equal lengths of a minimum of three beads at least 1.5 inches separating each bead centered on the substrate. For questions about bead placement, contact Technical Service at 1.800.347.4583. Press surfaces firmly together with a slight twisting motion and firmly hold for 5 seconds. NOTE: On extremely heavy items, temporary support may be necessary during the curing process. Certain large applications may require additional permanent bracing. Mechanical fixings should always be used in overhead applications. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Tools and adhesive may be cleaned with mineral spirits or acetone when uncured. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions. Once cured, adhesive must be scraped from surface.

Do not use when temperature or materials are below 40°F. Do not use on plastic, rubber or asphalt. Not intended for use around pools, chlorides or for continuous submersion. Yellowing may occur in the dark. Not intended for direct contact with flames or fire brick. Extreme temperatures may affect load dependence of heavier materials. For mirrors and other heavy vertical applications adhesive must be used with a permanent mechanical fastening system. Not suitable as joint sealant. Not paintable with alkyd resin paints. Porous surfaces may require a primer. Adhesion tests prior to application are recommended. For additional questions or recommendations, please contact Technical Service at 1.800.347.4583 or visit us at Titebond.com.

Among others, not recommended for applications on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, neoprene and bituminous substrates. Not recommended for continuous underwater applications or expansion joints. Not suitable in combination with chlorides (pools). Yellowing may occur in the dark. Not suitable as joint sealant. Not paintable with alkyd resin paints. Porous surfaces may require a primer. Adhesion tests prior to application are recommended. It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. Store between 40°F (5°C) and 78°F (25°C) in cool, dry conditions.
